La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District

LHPUSD continues to work closely with Transcend Education and the Rural School Design Community. The initiative is in response to the 2021 board goal to develop a student-centered, responsive instructional framework. The core team meets regularly with our Transcend Coach and will initiate outreach to the wider school community in October and November. We will conduct key interviews and focus group discussions with staff, parents, students and community members to gather input in regards to what is going well in our district and which areas we should consider for redesign. We plan to hold a community meeting in January to share our findings, gather feedback and launch the second phase of this 10 month program.
