Smarter Balanced Assessment


LHPUSD students started a new standardized assessment aligned to the Common Core State Standards in 2014-2015. Students were field-tested on the new assessments for two years. 2015 was the first year of full implementation and reporting by the state. California students continue to take the Smarter Balanced Assessment which replaced the previous state assessment, the California Standards Test or CST.
