On Sunday, June 4th we came together with students, families, staff and community members for a district-wide event. Let’s Explore! Community as Classroom was focused on place-based learning activities, building connections with one another and hands-on exploration. The day included two excursions to Pescadero Marsh and Root Down Farm. In addition to the two trips, we had a variety of activities: nature art, nature walk, interactive map display, a showcase of recent place-based learning units from across TK-12 and so much more.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, our wonderful community partners and to all of our participants.
