It is hard to believe that the 2022-2023 school-year has come to a close.
On our last day of school we celebrated our 5th graders as they promoted onto middle school. It is always a bittersweet day to see them celebrate this huge milestone and know that we won't see their smiling faces next school-year, but we know they are going to move mountains in middle school. We appreciate everyone who was able to attend the ceremony and be part of the special day.
We also celebrated our preschool students on the last day of school as they promoted onto TK/Kinder. It was equally as special to watch them celebrate their big day and have a potluck with all their classmates and families.
As shared previously, Ms. Pantera will be leaving La Honda Elementary, but she won't be going too far. We are excited for her new position as the 5th grade teacher at Pescadero Elementary. It will be so wonderful to see her and Mr. Kern collaborate next year on our 5th to 6th middle school transition plan that will support bringing both classes together throughout the school-year.
There were also lots of hugs and a few tears as students, families and staff said goodbye to Ms. Wilson. We wish her all the best on her next chapter in education.
