How do you know what homework assignments your child should be doing each evening?
1. Check their math notebook to see what notes they took that day in class.
Example: 5-1 is written at the beginning of the day's notes.
The first number (5) indicates the textbook chapter, the second number (1) indicates the section within that chapter.
2. Then look at their assignment sheet for assignment 5-1. Those are the problems they should be doing.
The assignment sheet is given to students on the beginning day of each chapter of study.
3. Assignments are due the day after those class notes were taken. Late turn-in of assignments will receive 6 points instead of the full 10 points.
4. On days a student was absent, the student may turn in the assignment for full credit up to the day when that chapter's test is given.
