The Governing Board gratefully accepts bequests or gifts of money or property that support its commitment to providing equal educational opportunities for all district students.
All gifts, grants and bequests are tax deductible and become district property. Donors are encouraged to donate gifts to the district, but may also donate them to a particular school.
Before accepting a donation, the Board considers whether the donation:
- Has a purpose consistent with the district's vision and philosophy
- Begins a program which the Board would be unable to continue when the donated funds are exhausted
- Entails undesirable or excessive costs
- Implies endorsement of any business or product
All donations accepted by the Board will be acknowledged. Donation forms are available at the schools and the District Office. Thank you for your generosity.
